OVERVIEW
Miller Grove Middle School (MGMS) serves a population of approximately 700 sixth, seventh and eighth grade students. The home of the wolverines, MGMS strives to provide an environment of rigorous, stimulating, and uplifting educational opportunities that extend from traditional classroom instruction to extracurricular activities aimed at developing students as quality producers, critical thinkers, and well-rounded individuals.

Nestled in one of Atlanta, Georgia’s metropolitan suburban communities, MGMS is located among a vibrant and thriving business community. Miller Grove Middle School is one of 20 middle schools in the DeKalb County School System and is situated in the southern part of the county. The community consists of subdivisions, several apartment complexes, an industrial park, and other small businesses.

SCHOOL GOALS
Teachers will strive daily to construct an instructional foundation from which students can build. Students will strive daily to connect the instructional foundation to the world around them. The school will strive to work harmoniously with the community to promote a spirit of excellence in our future leaders of tomorrow.
